We rent foam, epoxy, PU/PE fiberglass surfboards, bodyboards, and wetsuits. First timer and not sure what kind of board to ride? A foam surfboard rental is perfect for learning and isn’t as dangerous when you wipe out. We also offer private and public group surf lessons for beginners who need a little help. What types of surfboards and wetsuits are available for rent?
We have foam boards ranging from 5’6″ to 10’0″ as well as all the glassed boards pictured above. All of our wetsuits are 3/2 O’Neill Reactor 2 Back-zips. We do have many O’Neill chest-zips and 4/3’s available for purchase in the shop, as well as booties, hoods, and gloves for those who get especially cold.
Does the rental include all necessary accessories?
Yes, all rentals come with essential accessories such as surfboard leashes, wax, and protective gear. Whether you’re renting a surfboard or wetsuit in San Diego, we ensure you have everything needed to enjoy the Pacific Ocean safely and comfortably.
How long can I rent a surfboard and wetsuit?
We have many options for rental durations. You can do the hour, the day, multiple days, or even multiple weeks. For any rentals past 1 week call us or email us for a price quote.
Do I need to know how to surf to rent a surfboard and wetsuit?
No prior surfing experience is necessary! Our surfboard rentals are beginner-friendly, and we provide tips to help you enjoy the waves. Beginners can also explore small waves with bodyboard or skimboard rentals at Pacific Beach.
Are rental packages refundable or transferable?
There are typically no refunds for rentals, however under extenuating circumstances we may issue a refund.
