We maintain a top quality, diverse rental/demo quiver that doubles as a selection of used surfboards for sale. In fact we have one of the largest selections of used surfboards for sale in San Diego! This means that you can try a board out before you buy it! Basically how it works is you rent the board and if you decide you like the board and want to buy it, we’ll take the price of the rental out of the final cost of the board. During your rental/demo you can swap boards out as many times as you like, so you can test out multiple shapes and sizes to dial in the ideal board. We have boards from Gordon & Smith, Rusty, T. Patterson, Gary Linden, Surftech, Hank Warner, and Sea Brothers. 

For example, say you want to buy a Hank Warner Powerhull we have listed for $500. You rent it for an hour for $35 and love it. We’ll charge you $465 + sales tax. The prices on boards are negotiable, but we won’t entertain lowball offers. Used surfboards are also not available to be shipped and must be picked up at the shop. Prices for the used surfboards are all listed without fins or leash. If you want the fins and leash with the board there will be additional costs added depending on the fin set. 

If you find your dream shape but don’t want a used one, or decide you want it bigger/smaller than the demo board we’ve got you covered. We keep new versions of nearly all our demo boards in multiple sizes as well. If we don’t have the size you’re looking for we can easily put in an order for you with one of the great shapers we’re in contact with!
