Spend Your Summer at San Diego’s Most Legendary Surf Camp 

San Diego is unique in that it is one of only a handful of major US Cities that can offer a large selection of Surf Camps to choose from. Within San Diego, Pacific Beach Surf Shop’s Summer Surf Camps set the standard. It is well known that when you learn to surf at PB Surf Shop, you get the best-possible surf education and become part of the PBSS family. What many don’t realize is that while they are in PB Surf Shop, they are witnessing Pacific Beach surf history in realtime. Not only because it resembles the surf shacks reminiscent of the 70’s, but the shop and surf school have been changing lives as part of the San Diego surf community since 1962. By now, most people know that PB Surf Shop is a Hall of Fame shop and surf school, but how do we hold our surf camps to the Hall of Fame standard? Well by incorporating the input and consultation of other HOF members/professional surfers/surfing legends of course… would be the obvious answer… if that was like, a normal thing. It is the answer, it’s just not a normal thing; it’s unique and awesome, and just another reason all campers have such a fun and memorable experience. One particular example of this is the inclusion of a “Surfer’s Journal” for every camper that signs up. This is a favorite among campers and parents because it continues to guide them through their surfing journey beyond the week of surf camp. The journal was created by owner Randy Strunk along with Surf Ambassador and Author Glenn Hening, and made in consultation with Professional Surfer Shaun Tomson, whose book The Code is the basis of what guides many surfers in their surfing journey. In addition to that, the PBSS staff that run the surf camps are the most experienced in San Diego, hands down. All from diverse (and impressive, might I add) professional backgrounds, our counselors ensure the safest, welcoming, and most complete camp experience around.
