First Surf Shop and Surf School to be Inducted

A few months back, a blog was written celebrating the success of PB Surf Shop/School in its 60th year of existence. The blog questioned what’s next for our small but mighty shop? How can we measure the success of the next 60 years, compared to the last? Well, we didn’t have to wait too long for some semblance of an answer to those questions.

Pacific Beach Surf Shop will be inducted into the San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame!!!

Spirits are high here at the shop; especially so with Randy who (if you’ve been doing your homework, you know) has been around for 31 years, and is ecstatic to join the ranks of friends and legends like Joe Roper, Hank Warner, and so many more. Randy and everyone who has been part of the shop family are super grateful for the recognition from the SD surfing community! 

Friends and family of the shop are all going to be celebrating the momentous occasion this Wednesday at the San Diego Mission Bay Boat and Ski Club. Come join us! Festivities start at 6:30 pm with a VIP meet and greet (grub and drinks available) where you can mingle with SD surf royalty. Followed by the induction ceremony at 7:45 pm, emceed by the aforementioned legend himself, Hank Warner. Hurry – tickets will sell out!
